Events Assistant

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and driven local music lover to join our small team for 5 months. Working closely with our events teams this role will bring the opportunity for you to produce your own music-based events as well as contribute to the ongoing development of our programming.



Job Role: Events Assistant (part-time)

Hours: 15 hrs / week

Contract: February 2023 - June 2023 (5 months)

Location: Hybrid: Central Leeds Office / Working from Home

Salary: National Living Wage

Closing Date: Friday January 6th, 12pm (Noon)


Note: This role is funded by Youth Music’s Incubator fund so is only available to people aged 18-25.

5. What piece of advice would you give to a brand-new music promoter?

6. What is the best music-based event you’ve been to in the last 12 months and why was it so impactful?

Written applications: There is a max word count of 400 words for each question, but we don't expect you to use all 400 words in your application, we just want to get to know you and your relevant experience.


Voice note & video applications: There isn't a time limit, but we'd love to see you answer the questions in order! Don't forget to tell us your name, pronouns if you're comfortable and upload your CV!
